What Type of Gas Does the BMW X7 Take? 

Like all other BMW models, the BMW X7 requires premium gas. BMW X7 Power  

The BMW X7 comes equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter, six-cylinder engine that generates 335 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. There are also two other available engines: 

• Twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8: 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque 
• Twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8: 612 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque 

All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is standard.

For a full-size luxury SUV, the BMW X7 gets great gas mileage. With the base engine, you’ll get 19 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway, and if you select one of the other available engines, you’ll get 15 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the highway.
