A few weeks ago we wrote about BMW's participation in the movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. Now that the movie's been released, your friends here at the local BMW 128i dealership thought we'd give you a recap of BMW's role in the movie. Read on to learn more!
Like we reported before, the following vehicles from BMW can be seen in the film being driven by Tom Cruise's character, Ethan Hunt, and are prominently featured in several key action sequences throughout the film:
· 2012 BMW 6-Series Convertible - this amazing car recently launched and has been a huge hit! We're excited to see more of it in the movie!
· 2014 BMW i8 (or at least the working prototype of the upcoming plug-in hybrid supercar) - this is exciting because it offers us a sneak peak to what we can expect from this supercar, including a futuristic touch-screen head-up-display similar to the technologies previewed recently under the ConnectedDrive heading.
For the movie's recent release, BMW was on hand at the red carpet event! The BMW i8 Concept Car made its way down the red carpet for the US premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City on Monday, December 19, 2011, and made quite the impression!
