· The new 6 Series Gran Coupe will make its North American debut at the 2012 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.
· This Gran Coupe will be a 4-door, 4+1 seater, and will make the latest addition to the 6 series line-up.
· What's so great about this model is that it combines the stunning proportions, design and driving dynamics of the 6 Series Coupe with interior room and amenities for up to five passengers.
· Eventually, there will be three models in the US. The first will be the 640i Gran Coupe and will be powered by a TwinPower Turbo inline 6
· Look for the initial model to arrive later this summer, but a TwinPower Turbo V8 will later be placed in the 2012 BMW 650i, and an all-wheel drive 2013 BMW 650i xDrive Gran Coupe will also join the line-up.
· Other models that will be highlighted at the show are the M5 sedan, and the new 3 Series sedan.
