Every year, the International Engine of the Year Awards are handed out to honor the industry's top engines. It is a globally renowned competition, with winners in a variety of categories, as well as in an overall category, being decided by an international jury made up this year of 84 motoring journalists from 35 countries. BMW Group has historically performed very well, and this year we are thrilled to report that BMW Group brought in two awards!
One of these awards was for the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, which finished top in its displacement category, the 1.8 - 2.0-litre displacement class.
