For 2014, the BMW 7 Series line-up is sure to look and drive better than ever. We are thrilled to announce that it will soon benefit from advanced diesel technology in the form of the 2014 BMW 740 Ld xDrive. Here are some other highlights on this upcoming model:
- The 2014 BMW 740Ld xDrive will be a long-wheel base sedan featuring a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo diesel engine and the intelligent all-wheel drive system from BMW.
- This powertrain will allow for 255 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
- As part of the BMW EfficientDynamics strategy, the engine also allows for the reduction of fuel consumption and emissions while still embodying exceptional BMW driving dynamics.
- The new model will make its US auto show debut at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2014. Look for it to arrive in US showrooms in Spring 2014.
