Have you heard of BMW ReachNow? It’s the company’s car sharing service. Currently running only in Seattle, WA, the service allows drivers to rent BMW vehicles as they need them. Drivers who take advantage of the service pay for only the time they use—be it a minute, an hour, or a day. Even more convenient? Drivers don’t have to return cars to where they picked them up. With free parking spaces all throughout the Home Area covered by the program, drivers can simply leave the cars when they’re done with them.
The ReachNow service launched only two and a half months ago, and BMW is already announcing its first expansion to the Home Area. They’ve also expanded their fleet, which includes the all-wheel-drive BMW 3 Series and the electric BMW i3. Steve Banfield, CEO of ReachNow, was excited to announce the news, saying “The community has shown us they’re hungry for mobility options, and, as a result, we’re expanding our services earlier than anticipated to Southeast Seattle, West Seattle, and Magnolia.” ReachNow serves as one more example of the BMW brand's commitment to forward thinking. We imagine that after a few rentals, drivers might start to get an itch for a BMW vehicle of their very own.
