Using the app, you can send your destinations to your BMW vehicle, and the intelligent app will study your patterns in order to recommend departure times. The app can also be utilized to share your arrival time with friends and family, control important functions like locking your door, and help you find the nearest parking garage—a great tool to have at your disposal when visiting a new area.
Another great software feature is BMW Teleservice, which automatically or manually transmits data to BMW when your vehicle needs service. Your BMW center can then access your vehicle’s data, and a BMW Service Advisor can call to schedule an appointment. Using the data, the advisor can also order parts beforehand, thereby reducing service time. This is a big plus for those of us who can’t be without our cars for too long without throwing our schedules out of whack.
